ADOMultimedia Heritage was born to promote the development of digital heritage projects, fostering innovation in the cultural field and supporting museums in a field that is just emerging.
Our vision originates from the shift in experience that digital technologies allows, expanding the space available both for contents as well as relations.
At a content level, digital tools allow us to virtually reconstruct the immaterial context surrounding the cultural heritage.
At the relational level, widespread networking technologies extend the range and occasions for interactions between people and institutions, providing a context of social participation.
To better deal with the complexity in the digital age, ADOMultimedia Heritage explores different tools: multimedia exhibits and applications, digital publishing, online games and participatory activities, educational projects, as well as the analysis and interpretation of existing digital media systems in cultural environment.
